We insist that all our homestay tutors have recognized TESOL* qualifications. For your added peace of mind all our tutors caring for children under 16 years old are police checked as a matter of course when they join Seapoint Homestays UK.  All courses are carefully planned as a result of the information submitted in your booking form. We use reputable course books and well researched material to help you get the most out of your lesson time.

General English and English for Juniors (1:1 / 2:1 /3+)

This is where the student/s can really be pushed to their full potential and makes rapid progress. General English will cover all aspects of English Language incorporating all the main skills needed.

Business English (1:1 / 2:1/ 3+)

In these classes we will pay particular attention to listening/telephone skills, writing for email/fax/reports/business and private letters incorporated with General English.

Private Groups: (3+)

Private groups can be catered for all year. This can be most beneficial to some students as working within a group can help confidence grow quickly. We will concentrate on all aspects of English language teaching to include Grammar, Pronunciation, conversation and skills work (reading, writing and speaking). We have lots of fun in these classes too!! 

English for exams: (1:1 / 2:1/ 3+)

If you are studying for a specific exam please let us know when booking and we will ensure your lessons follow that structure.

Intensive two part study programme: (1:1/2:1)

In this popular course students can get the very most out of their study time in the UK.  Every morning the student will spend 3 hours at Thanet college integrating into appropriate level English classes. Students learning at this British Council accredited college can take advantage of learning English with other students from all nationalities and being taught by highly qualified tutors.  After lunch the student will attend 2 hours of lessons with the host tutor following the General English syllabus. This course is perfect for students interested in learning English in a school environment but coupled with the added intensity of one to one tuition at home.
