As Seapoint Homestays UK is situated in the South East we are surrounded by pretty seaside towns and picturesque towns, cities and country villages.  In the County of Kent known as the ‘Garden of England’ the beautiful countryside is breathtaking and there are towns and villages where you can still see quaint streets, traditional English houses and specialist shops.

Broadstairs
Broadstairs is dominated by the picturesque sandy bay with the historic ‘Bleak House’ overlooking it.  ‘Bleak House’ is the name of one of Charles Dickens’s famous novels, he loved the area and used Broadstairs and it’s colorful characters for inspiration for many other works. The small quaint high street houses many pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes from traditionally British to Asian cuisine. Award-winning guided walks, town trails and ghost trails will help you get the most out of the town centre, promenade and coastline. Relax and take your time to discover Broadstairs, with its 'magnificent seven' bays, thriving town centre, stunning cliff top walks and rich history,

Ramsgate
Ramsgate is home to the only ‘Royal Marina’ in the UK. Ramsgate was granted ‘royal’ status for its harbour in 1821 in recognition of the hospitality given to King George IV when he sailed from Ramsgate with the Royal Squadron on his way to Hanover.  The stunning waterfront is littered with trendy wine bars and restaurants and is particularly beautiful on a summer’s evening.
The modern town set back from the regency parade of houses has everything the discerning shopper needs.
The local maritime museum is of particular interest to those keen on local history.

Margate
Margate is a true seaside gem with its bustling promenades and selection of sandy bays.  It is one of the oldest seaside resorts in the country and has many places of interest to visit such as the Tudor house and the Shell Grotto, a mysterious series of underground passages adorned with over 40,0000 shells!!!
